I have turned seventy on November 8th, 2011. Three weeks prior to my birthday, on October 16th, at 07:30 I reached the Top of the Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa.
To continue the physical and mental challenge for my 70th, I decided to complete three Marathons within 6 months period. The lowest official Marathon below Sea Level, a Marathon at Sea Level, and the most challenging, the Highest Marathon in the world starting at the Everest base Camp, in Nepal.
So far, on January 12th, 2012 I have completed the lowest Marathon in Tiberias, Israel, about 600ft. below Sea Level. On March 18th, 2012, I completed the L.A. Marathon, at Sea level.
My next and most challenging will be the Tanzing-Hillary Everest Marathon on May 29th. (On this day Tanzing and Hillary reached the top of the Everest).
I will leave to Nepal on May 13th. It take a week of trekking to reach the starting point...
