Larger than Life — L.A. Family is a Los Angeles-based community-led charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with cancer.

In 2000, Larger Than Life was founded in Israel by parents of children with cancer. Over the past ten years, it has become a leading organization raising funds and support resources that are dedicated - through a number of projects - to bettering the quality of life of children with cancer and their families. Larger Than Life exists to support all children with cancer, regardless of religion, race, or ethnicity.

In 2003, Larger than Life — L.A. Family was formed by caring individuals in the Los Angeles community who wished to play a role in this important mission. Larger than Life — L.A. Family strives to provide meaningful opportunities for the local community to participate in the Larger Than Life mission.

Since its founding, Larger than Life — L.A. Family has sponsored an annual “West Coast Dream Trip”, creating an opportunity for children with cancer to enjoy two weeks of magic, fun and adventure around Southern California. Attending children and their families have passionately praised the positive impact that the West Coast Dream Trip has had on their health and their psychological well-being.

Larger than Life — L.A. Family also supports a range of projects that assist in children’s day-to-day struggles against cancer.
